Faculty and staff invited to first "Messiah" rehearsal today
(Community)

The OSU Music Department is inviting faculty and staff to join the chorus at the first rehearsal for Handel's "Messiah" set for Sunday, Nov. 3, from 4:30-6 p.m. in the Seretean Center for the Performing Arts.

Four efficient rehearsals are set for the month in preparation for the annual presentation on Friday, Nov. 22. and Sunday, Nov. 24.

Dr. Z. Randall Stroope, director of choral and vocal studies at OSU, will direct history's most-performed work during its 272nd anniversary. Seven chorus movements will be performed, along with a myriad of solo movements -- all with orchestra.

This is an exciting opportunity for faculty and staff across all academic areas to be involved. For more information, please contact matthew.j.taylor@okstate.edu or zrandall.stroope@okstate.edu .
